WHAT WE DO

Save The Children Programs

How Does Save the Children Program Help?

In the U.S. and around the world, Save the Children does whatever it takes — every day and in times of crisis — to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.

When crisis strikes and children are most vulnerable, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We ensure children's unique needs are met and their voices are heard. We deliver lasting results for millions of children, including those hardest to reach. We do whatever it takes for children — transforming their lives and the future we share — because we believe every child deserves a future.

U.S. Programs

Our Save the Children Program reaches America’s most vulnerable kids through early education, literacy, health and disaster preparedness programs — helping them to succeed in school and in life.

Global Programs

We work in 95 countries helping the most vulnerable, hardest-to-reach children. Through pioneering health, education and protection programs, we create lasting, life-changing results.

Emergency Response

When crisis strikes, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We deliver lifesaving emergency relief and offer psychosocial support to help children recover.

Where We Work

From Kentucky to Kenya, Save the Children’s objectives are the same: Go wherever we’re needed — and do whatever it takes — to ensure children grow up healthy, learning and safe.

Results For Children

Thanks to champions for children like you, we helped 105 million children last year, transforming their lives and the future we all share. And we won’t stop until we save every last child.

Save The Children Action Network

Take action and build political support to improve the lives of children in the U.S. and around the globe. Join the Save the Children Action Network — the political voice for kids.

Global Policy and Advocacy

Based on evidence and our on-the-ground experience, we educate and engage policymakers to champion policies and programs that improve the well-being of the world’s most vulnerable and marginalized children.
